Hello, the pre-op diet isn't too bad, but yes only 6 days and a wake up to go. Me I am excited, and nervous, been cleaning house lol, packing the hospital bag, and making sure I have everything I need. This week is my last meeting with my surgeon before the surgery, and then I will shop for what I need to be eating post op. We are not on liquids post op, but pureeds. Slightly scared, but then who isn't I think. Wow the days are flying by. Good Luck to all. Here is to complication free surgeries, and speedy recoveries for us all. Renee

Well I am on my pre surgery diet and feeling good. I am very excited and nervous... but most of all I am thankful. This time next week I will be in the recovery room and the Journey will have officially begun. I can not wait to watch all of the Marchers 2008 succeed and get what we all deserve from life. Best of Luck to all!

I'm a March 3rd-er too! Fortunately my surgeon doesn't do the 7-day liquid fast thing... just a bowel prep Saturday morning. After that it's only liquids but 2-3 days versus 7 is cool. I will be able to have my "last luncheon" with the work crowd on Friday. I'm beyond excited... beyond scared... waiting to wake up from the surgery and have it verified for me that it actually happened. It will be the beginning of a new life for me, as I'm sure it will be for the rest of you as well. Good luck! Donna

I'm on March 3rd also. I'm doing a modified liquid diet until Sunday when I go on clear liquids until Midnight then nothing afterward until after surgery. I'm pretty calm right now and I try to stay busy as to not think about it. I do daydream about the future though such as new smaller clothes, off all my medications, being able to do things with my grandchildren and having more energy and enjoying exercising. May God grant us all uneventful surgeries and pain free recoveries. Blessings to all of you and see you on the loser's bench next week.
