Psych evaluation

Can anyone share with me some of the questions asked during your psych eval. I'll be meeting with a psychologist on Thursday. Thanks.

Wow, Felicia, you got scheduled without having that done first? You must be on the fast track! Color me jealous! My psych eval was a discussion about the surgery and why I want it and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI). Piece of cake. Of course, I have followed this up with counseling as I started to realize through the prep process that hunger is not my eating issue and I need to sort that out. Janice

My psych eval was a snap. basically, they want to make sure you have some kind of support system (at home, possibly at work), since I work at a church, i have TONS of support, good luck with your eval!

I filled out a 5 zillion question form asking everything from anger issues, family issues, history, etc... Then I met the doc for about 20 minutes and I was out! No problems at all. From what I hear it varies wildly from area to area though. Good luck!
