got my date

my surgery date is March 5, i went to the dr today nad i got a big bag of protein shakes. i start them tomorow.. kinda nervous

They gave you the protein drinks? Dang! That's great! I have my own and am primarily doing that. I have a low fat/low carb diet I can follow, but think it is a better set up for me to drink the drinks. They are okay with that. I understand that nervousness ... it's a good one though, no? Janice

It is a good long awaited for nervousness, i started my shakes today got sick over the first one . the second one went down a little easier. i am feeling shakey though because i guess my body is looking for food i guess it will get easier.they gave me strawberry ,banana, chocolate and vanilla shakes...are yoyu having the laproscopic gastric bypass?

Yes .... I don't know how I would feel about having it open. I've been practicing with the protein for quite sometime, so am used to the flavor etc. It is hard to get used to sometimes. Today I woke up with a cold in my nose. I am torn between being sick and being mad about being sick. Ugh! Am going to make sure I rest etc. Janice
