Questions?!?! Need answers please!

I'm 46, 5'10" and 360# Suffer from sleep apnea, GERD, hypertention, and hyperlypodemia (yes I got the variety pack in the gene pool). Has anyone had any of these conditions prior to surgery and how have they improved since? I may be having surgery in the next 30-60 days. Excited and nervous.

Hi Anne! I doubt many on this particular board will be able to answer your question. I think most people here will be having their surgery next month, March 2008. Hopefully, someone will come along. Try going to the main board and asking your question. I have sleep apnea and hypertention, too. I hope having my surgery will make me feel better! Good luck in your journey.

Anne, yeah, what Kathy said! We are all waiting for surgery next month in this forum. The research shows great improvement in most health conditions, so I encourage you to ask this on the main board, but also to look at the data pages that show that research about what can be expected. welcome !! have a cup of tea & browse the info on the main board as Jas said there is SOOOO much info in all the threads. Kepp in mind EVERYONE'S EXCPERIECE IS DIFFERENT but the info there will give you an idea of what to expect. safe surgery & speedy recovery
