Another Hopeful Note

I thought perhaps my surgery date would be in January. I hoped like heck! But it seems it will be later. I'm putting a note into the universe that it will be in March of 2008. Here's to me and all the other March surgery babies!

You know God has a reason for everything! I wish you all the best and don't worry your time will come faster than you know it! Something big is in the future for you..

Hello, why is your surgery date pushed back so far?

My insurance requires a 6 month supervised diet. So I have to wait until that is over. That won't start until October 2nd. That would leave me out about April. If by chance my insurance approves me quickly. If not It could even be may. I hope it's not May. Thanks for asking.

Oh ok... Are you doing your diet throught your PCP or a nutritionist?

Hershey has a program designed strictly for WLS patients. They handle everything from nutritionist to psych and even sleep study. So everything will be through them. I'm sorta excited to just get started.

I don't know about the rest of y'all but the waiting is not very easy for me. I'm keeping myself busy with things like, oh, moving and the like, but ..... even though mine is two months from today, that seems like an eon! So, tell me, how are you spending your time prior to March and surgery? Anyone taking a last minute trip to Hawaii or something like that? Janice
