11 Months
I'm 11 months out...March 29th is my 1 year surgiversary and I am exstatic! I've lost 149 pounds so far and have been living the life I've missed out on for what seems like forever.
I'm going to be 32 years old have just recently started dating....for the FIRST TIME! Doing things I haven't done since I was a little kid. What I want to know is how everyone else is dealing with the changes and what changes are impacting them the most.
You're doing great!! I haven't lost as much as you but am not too far behind at 117. I have been dating too, not for the first time but the first time in a LONG time! I'm almost 46 though. It is weird though, the whole dating and all, often I still see myself the same, as I was pre-surgery, and yet I know I have changed drastically! I have a ways to go though. THe changes that impact me the most are all positive ones, like not getting winded taken a flight of stairs, fitting in booths in restaurants and in other seats like movies and airplanes, not being in pain every day, more energy, feeling "normal" for the first time in like forever!
I am so happy for you! I wish you the best with dating and hope you find the love that you deserve!
149 pounds is amazing I have lost 90 pounds and think that it is amaing that we can do so much more just being able to walk up the stairs is amazing I could barley do one flight but know i can do 8 flights of stairs
wow the things that people take for granted
I wish you all the best in this new year of the new you
