I Know I Shouldn't...
Hi.
I usually lurk around this forum, and I love reading everything about people's experiences.
I know I am not supposed to be counting calories, but hey. Let's face it--I do.
I am 9 and a half months out and I eat about 1300 calories a day. I've lost 110 pounds so far.
What about everyone else? Does that seem high or low? I eat around 40 grams of fat a day and about 80 grams of protein.
Just wondering...
Sarah
I do 800-1000 calories per day, 70 grams of protein and no more than 40 carbs per day. Fat grams i don't keep track of. A 110 pound loss is awesome! My newest wonder is how to maintain my weight instead of continuing to lose. I currently weigh 137 and my goal is 135.
Any suggestions?
aloha,
michelle
It's OK to count your calories. Everybody's body is different, and caloric intake should change as you are ramping up or down your physical activity, and depending on whether you are trying to lose, maintain, or just build muscle mass. It's not just what you're eating, but also how it's spread throughout the day and what activities you're doing!
Merry Christmas!!
