The Gym!
I wanna go to the gym!!! I can't do it yet, Babbette(hernia) is preventing me from strenuous exercise...I am allowed to walk and that is it. I use the treadmill here at home and I am thinking about getting a stepper. My daug is going to take me to her gym so I can try a couple of items before I buy.
I exercise about 5-6 times per week. I alternate -- one day I will run 2 miles and lift weights. The next day I run three miles and do ab exercises. When I first started going to gym, I walked for 20 minutes, then 30, then 40, then 45. I then started running for 20 minutes and walking for 20 minutes, until I built it up.

I walk with wrist weights. I go everyday to the track and am up to 5 miles!! I do it very briskly and can be done in 1 hour. Since I go first thing in the AM (after DS is on the bus), I have no excuse to skip and it energizes me for hours!!
I know it is helping...one can see the results.

Hi Amie,
I know what you mean especially when where busy with the kids !! I did curves from the start of wls, but now 6 months later I'm bored with that. I now do weights, cardio/swimming in makes it more interesting. Also I can see more results with the weights just go easy at first. Email me when you get a minute.
