update on Viv

HI all, thank you again so much for your love, support and prayers. I am safely home again from Barix--I ended up going last week--on thursday , minus one nasty gall bladder. I am recouping well, and got up and walking today. I am a little sore and some upset tummy-ness...but so much better than last week. I have to say this and I can never say it enough....DR. KAM is amazing. He was insistent I come down there if I was not getting the care here ( which I was not) and he immediately found out the problem, got me on an IV and antibiotics and got the darn infected nasty gallbladder out...making me feel like a whole new person. He did not hesitate to do whatever it took to make me feel better and he and the staff at Barix went the extra mile as usual. I am so thankful to be feeling better and although I have had a few bumps in the road on this journey, knowing I was in Dr Kam's hands and had all of you for support...it helped beyond description. I hope to be back at work in a week--thanks agian. Vivian

So glad you're home and back on the road to recovery. It is amazing how much difference a good doctor can make, and how miserable a poor one can make you. I had a feeling something serious might be wrong when I read and responded to your previous post. Soooo glad you were able to get some help, and can finally start to feel better!! Stay positive, even though I can imagine it must be hard! --Dave
