How MUCH fat?

Hi all...I'm confused about the amount of fat we're supposed to be having at this poiint (about 2 months out). I've been having some coffee lately b/c I just can't wake up enough without out and I've been putting a bit of whole milk in it. I can put skim in but the color is gross and the taste not great. A *PLOP* of whole milk makes the difference. Now I haven't had a problem with this but it makes me wonder...are you guys eating some fat? I mean, other than what comes in healthy foods? Curious and looking for answers. Thanks for the support and have a great weekend!

I dump on anything over 5 grams of fat per meal. FYI, coffee is bad... unless you're doing decaf..... it is a natural diuretic and will forcibly remove wha****er you do have from your system.

The nutritionist at our program told us to try not to exceed 5 grams in a meal. For some going over will lead to dumping, for others it could lead to foul smelling gas or bowel movements, or loose or runny bowel movements because about a third of it isn't going to be absorbed like it used to. But even if you can get away with it, it is a good idea to try to limit it because it is higher in calories - not conducive to your goal of weight loss. That said, I have had some meals with more fat in it and have done fine, probably because I consume so much less volume now.
