Hi there! 337/266/205 Total weight loss 71 pounds Waist size reduction 52" to 42" Good things this week: Bought a new scale. Had alot more choices in scale purchases now that I'm well under the 300 pound mark. New scale works like a charm! Something I'm looking forward to: in the next week or two I hope to go over the 75 pounds lost. This is a major milestone for me! Jodell is now at the 40 pounds lost. In case you are new, Jodell had her RNY done on 3-27-07. This means we have lost a combined 111 pounds! Look forward to hearing how everyone else is doing! --Dave

Way to go Robin and Dave!!!! Okay BIG BIG Wake up call for all of us who are NOT exercising like we should..are you ready????????? I came on here to update my measurements cause I just did them. I was so excited about the inches I have lost which i know I should be and am. BUT I read Robin's post and noticed that she works out ALL THE TIME (way to go Robin) Robin has lost the same amount of weight as I have. She had her surgery just a couple of days before mine. Total loss for both of us is 44lbs. Robin has lost a total of 55 inches (HOLY COW..WAY TO GO!!!!!!) My total inches lost is 40!!!!!!! Now I have lost 13 in two weeks and I am completely proud of that...but that is a 15 inches difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have both lost the same amount of weight...Hmmmmmmm....if that is not a wake up call and some major motivation for me I don't know what is!!!!!!!!!!!1 Thank you Robin for your post!!! I need to get my rear into gear (literally!!!) Now hear this everyone...I am NOT beating myself up. I just know now what changes I really need to make to get the results that I want to get! Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Rita

Hi Rita, It may that I am measuring more parts than you and that is why I have lost more inches. It's hard to say. It sounds to me like you are doing awesome, and I am very proud of you! Keep up the good work! I do work out everyday because I want so badly to try to avoid having to have plastic surgery because I know I can't afford it if insurance doesn't cover it. Also, I promised myself that if I got approved for this surgery that I was going to become the "jock" that I used to be. I loved it when I had a nice hard body,a nd darn it, I want it back! You're doing great. So please don't beat yourself up for not working out and what not. We all do this our own way and you're doing fabulously! ~Robin

Well... I've been sitting at or around 270 for the last 2 weeks... I finally have my energy back so I am going to start hitting the gym this week. So far I've lost 52 lbs. and I struggle to get my water in every day. I know that if I start exercising, I will really have to increase my water! Had to do some shopping because I am running out of clothes to wear! woo hoo! I had to get a cute new haircut too... to match my new cute look... Have a great week everyone! Amie

I am new at posting here. My surgery was 3/23/07. I felt like I needed a little support and it is great to see others that had the surgery the same time as me. 235/200.1/135 Total loss: 35 Total inches: Not sure but my size 20s and some 18s are too big My Struggles this week: I haven't really been feeling like myself....feeling a little depressed. My social life prior to the surgery revolved around go out and drinking and eating. I feel like avoiding those types of situations. It isn't fun to hang out with drunk friends when you are sober. Some of my friends are not being supportive about my decision not to go out on weekends. What I am proud of: I really worked on eating my protein. Goals for next week: Get more exercise and drink my water. Tracy

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been absent for awhile. My mother was in the ICU for awhile and then we thought she had liver cancer. Turns out that it was a burst vessel that showed on the scan and not a mass, so she is ok. And then there's all the usual life stuff - ugh. Anyway, I have had my ups and down but am doing good overall. Starting: 313 Surgery (3/20): 280 Today: 245 Goal: 142 People now say how much younger I look. I never thought I looked that old, but I guess I did. Today is the first bad food day I have had in over a week I think. I ate too fast at dinner and ended up losing it. Then it was hard to eat or drink after that. I also struggle with water and exercise, but I am hoping that will pick up soon. I got a bicycle the other day and will start riding it around as soon as we can get the brakes working right. I haven't ridden a bike since I was a kid, so it will be fun. Anyway, hope everyone is doing good and I'll try and keep up now that things are settling down. See you all later! Sherry
