I can eat anything except beef or eggs. Anything low fat, low sugar, low carb... of course

Anything that has less than 5 grams of sugar and/or 5 grams of fat per serving. No food problems at all. I am loving salads with grilled chicken or steak at the moment. ~Robin

I just about can eat everything. But, then again it is a lot of stuff that I still haven't tried yet. So far so good... Montego

That's great I am glad everyone is doing ok! I think I still have a fear of eating. I am always scared to try new things for fear I will get sick! Hope I get past this!!!! Bethany

I can relate Bethany, especially since I had a stricture a few weeks ago. I am pretty nervous about trying new things, I still stick to tuna and soups, I have started to eat some salads, and tonight enjoyed shephards pie. I tried to eat steak..really chewed it well, it went alright, but chicken does not sit well with me. I also tried to eat an apple yesterday and I think it was the skin that did not sit nicely. I have had things with more sugar than recommended with no dumping, so I will have to be careful. I crave ice/slushies/cold cold cold drinks..I wonder why? its very strange. I found this awesome sugar free italian ice, they are an awesome treat. keep up the posts though --its cool to hear what others are eating. btw--I am down 43 pounds..now. yee hawwwww Vivian

Wow we really are alike. I don't seem to dump on sugar either and I crave slushies too!!! I went out and bought an ice shaver the other day and me and my kids and my kids are loving it! I know it has more than the reccomended sugar but once the ice melts it gets very watered down!!! Well good luck and keep me updated on how you are doing!! Bethany I am down 57lbs so far but nothing this week!

Your craving for hot or cold drinks it probably to do with pouchie muscle. I have found that a morning and evening "wash down" with a warm cup of herbal tea (no caffiene) works really well to relax the muscles of my pouch so I can eat without getting sick.. Without that tea, I'm crampy miserable everytime I swallow. The ice cold stuff is similar in that it numbs the nerve endings in the stomach and kinda desensitizes it a bit. So as long as you're not overdoing the sugar or caffiene, enjoy

I like the "south beach" protein bars (19 grams of protein each). I usually will eat one for breakfast, and throw 1-2 in my box to eat while I am at work. Today I had a 2/3's of a turkey sandwich for lunch. It was pretty good. I also like string cheese in the colby jack variety. I bought some small tupperware dishes that I like to put canned peaches or pears in to take to work. I also like the south beach "pizza" which has 31 grams of protein. Canned chili is also a personal favorite. I like the spicy varieties. I was on crystal light for the first month or so, but now am completely back to water.
