low energy?? anyone else
My doc has me taking a b-12 daily, and I also have at least one protien shake a day. I also feel if I don't get my protien in I am very tired by the end of the day. You also got to take into consideration the fact that the amount of calories you are taking in on a daily basis post op compared to pre-op is drastically less and your body needs time to get used to being able to burn less calories for the same amount of activities!! Hang in there, nobody said this was the easy way out!!
Hi Jenny-
I've really felt tired lately so I sympathize. When I went for my one month check-up, the doctor said it was normal (but didn't offer advice). My surgery was March 13 and this week is the FIRST week that I have any energy!! I've been working out and getting in all my protein and vitamins. Good luck! IT WILL PICK UP! Just give yourself time to bounce back!

I am so glad someone else is going through this too!!! I had my surgery on 3/26 and I am fighting fatigue. I feel like sleeping all the time and when I am moving I am dragging 20 lb weight behind me. I know I am not getting much sleep because of my baby but this is my 4th kid and I have never seen this type of fatigue before. I have been doing some reading which alluded to it but this is the first time I have met actual people who have had it.
Dr's never mention this and all the web information I found on it were personal blogs from "Losers" like us.
When will it end??????????????
Thanks for bringing this up.
