My energy was very low until I was able to get my B-12 shot. Now I feel great. It should be about time for your first one. Have you had it yet? I would talk to your doctor. I feel wonderful!!!! Hope you get to feeling better!!

Hi Jenny I have found that if I don't get my morning protein shake I have less energy - not sure why. I'm not having any problems getting in all my protein as long as I get my morning shake. I'm still having a problem getting in all my fluids but it's getting better. Straigh****er makes me nauseated so I usually put one of the lipton green tea with mango/mandarin orange in the water bottle. It helps. I have been drinking apple juice like crazy but I'm getting sick of that. Crystal light makes me the same way. I wonder if it's the little bit of sugar I get from the apple juice that helps me not get nauseated when I drink it --hmm Hope your energy level goes up for you. --Lori

Protein really helps with energy, so make sure you are getting in enough protein. I think that fluids helps also. I had surgery on the 20th, and I get tired very easy and get nauseated at times as well. I was told it's just from the shock of surgery as well as trying to recover in addition to the protein and fluids issues. So, take it easy on yourself and exercise when you can. I wish I could do more as well right now, but I have to remind myself that my body is just making such a huge adjustment that it will take time. Sherry

Hi Jenny! I'm just noticing that your surgery was two days before mine...could it be the time of month for you? Or if you haven't had that for awhile (as was the case for me) I had mine last week out of the blue and a few days before that and all the way through my energy level was rock bottom! Perhaps this is the case...just another thought to go along with all the other good ones...I think the b12 has something to do with it too! Rita

Yes! I'm going through the same thing! I had my surgery on 3/15 and this week I have hit rock bottom when it comes to my energy. I take B12 sublingual everyday but I am having a hard time with the protien consumption and getting enough water... I'm hoping this weekend things will turn around! Right now I dread picking my 3 year old and 1 1/2 year old up from the sitter's house because they are a lot to deal with, I wish I had the energy they do! Hang in there! Amie
