i didn't tell anyone about my surgery. had it on 3/14 and i'm down about 24 pounds. my clothes fit better, but no one has noticed yet. i started at 282, so i'm not surprised, but i'm looking forward to being able to see the changes!

So far no one that I didn't tell has noticed or said anything, but those I know say they see the difference especially in my face. Really, I have only told family, so I am just waiting to see when my neighbors start to notice since I didn't tell any of them. Sherry

My husband says he can see it in my face and legs, but I don't feel any different yet.

My family says I look different, but other than that I don't think anyone has noticed yet. I figure it will happen when i drop a size in clothing, which I am very close to doing. I started at 243 and as of this morning I am down 23 pounds (suregery was 23 days ago). I am very pleased! I have started working out a little more strenuously as it looked like some places were getting a little saggy already! Good Luck, Robin

Well, I had my surgery on 2/28 and I too started out at 282 pounds. I am down 34 pounds from surgery date till today, and pelople are starting to notice a little. I can tell myself like you say just by the way my clothes fit now. And I just recently figured out I can now wear a smaller size, which let me tell you is the best feeling in the ENTIRE world !! Just wait another week or so and people will start saying things. Good Luck !!

I had posted that no one had really noticed. But after that, I had two friends that had not seen me since surgery say that they did not recognize me and wanted to know how much weight I had lost. Then I had 3 people today ask me if I had done something new to my hair. They said something was different but they just couldn't put their finger on what it was (these folks do not know that I had surgery) when I told them no I haven't changed my hair. So I guess people are starting to notice. It feels good! ~Robin

My family has said much the same things about the face and my stomach area. I have noticed this difference in my clothing. I heard once a while back ago (I think it is when I was in weigh****chers) that the 10% mark (when you lose 10% of your body weight..ie i was 311 and when I lose 31 lbs) that is when you start to look different and your body actually is MUCH healthier! I am four pounds away from that mark!!! Woohoo! Rita 311/284.4/140
