I accidently ate sugar!!!
RELAX! Seriously, sit down somewhere quiet, let your breathing stabalize and relax. You may or may not get sick, time will tell. Worse case scenario is you might throw up, feel naseous, sweat, feel dizzy/light-headed. But seriously, try to keep yourself calm - anxiety makes it worse! Call your doctor's office if you start really freaking out.
Good luck! Don't beat yourself up about it - we all make mistakes!

Not entirely sugar-free, no. Everything is pretty much low sugar, no sugar, low fat, or fat-free though. Everyone will react to sugar a little differently, which is why I mentioned that she might or might not feel sick. Dumping is a side-effect of eating foods high in simple carbohydrates (sugar) or fat.
If you're looking for yogurt... Dannon Lite & Fit (very low sugar and fat) or Blue Bunny Lite 85 (almost as low).
Don't stress and just see, if you didn't eat the whole container, you may not have gotten as much sugar as you think. Different people have different tolerances. As time goes on, watch your labels... you will learn how many grams you can take without dumping, if you are good about reading labels.
Do not worry about it. I was told that the sugar from dairy and fruits is ok. It's good to make sure the sugar is low in all your foods, but one time won't hurt you. However, you should avoid sugar if you ended up with dumping syndrome after eating the yogurt. So far I haven't had anything like that.

Well I survived it. I did eat the entire carton, but I will definitely be more careful. I did not dump, but I do think I had a panic attack. The yogurt had 19 grams of sugar (quite a bit). It did have strawberries, but one of the ingredients was sugar, so I knew I made a mistake. And yes, I am supposed to watch labels for sugar and high fructose corn syrup.
