Hi!! Home and losing weight!

Hi My surgery was on Monday 3/19. The surgery went well. The hospital stay was another story. I was suposed to go to ICU for cardiac monitoring but No Beds! So I spent 36 hours in PACU. When I finally got to my room I was discharged 12 hours later. It wasn't the hospital experience I was expecting. ( I am a nurse in another hospital so maybe I was expecting too much!) I am home and doing well. I actually came home Wednesday afternoon. My sister has been staying with me which has been a blessing. Driving my kids around, cooking and just taking care of my every possible need. She is leaving tomorrow to go back to her family. I am going to miss her. She is my best friend and it was so good to have this time with her. I got on the scale this morning! I am down 10.5 pounds!!!! I am shocked and so happy!!! I must have stepped on and off the scale 10 times! Today we are going grocery shopping to stock the pantry before she leaves. Yesterday we went shopping to buy easter suits for my sons. These little excursions have been good.
