Don't be worried about what to eat next week. For the first week after my surgery, my doctor said to focus on drinking liquids, and not worry too much about what to eat. That was good, because I wasn't especially hungry that week. As for food choices when you feel good, I've been eating cream of wheat, pureed oatmeal, small whey vanilla protein shakes blended with frozen strawberries, and occasionally some pureed fruit. A little bit goes a long way after surgery.

I wish you all the best in recovery. For me, everything got better once I was out of the hospital. --Dave
