My surgery is Thursday!

I hear you on the work goals... I'm in marketing and I have quotas to reach too! Also, on the Atkins shakes - I'm a big fan of chocolate but I found that the Vanilla tasted much better than the chocolate. Good luck with your fasting! I will check in with everyone once I am able! Amie

Hi Amie, I have a Thursday date as well. Had all my pre-op appointments today. Funny...you had your pre-op pedicure...I had my pre-op haircut. Don't want bed head on Friday! This should be one wild ride. I was truly nervous last week. But for some reason, on Friday, I really calmed down. I am a little nervous but now I seem to be more excited than worried. I think it is going to be hard to sleep tomorrow night. But hey, I get a great 3-4 hour nap on Thursday morning! Waking up will be a bit tough though! Best wishes for an uneventful day on Thursday. I am at peace too... I know I will be a little worried but once I am under (sleeping) it will be good. At this point the excitement of it all is taking over. A new me, a new you! Good luck with your surgery! Amie

Hi Amie, My surgery is in 9.5 hours!! (it is now 2a.m. and I can't sleep) It is perfectly normal to feel jittery. I've been that way all day. I started cleaning house and doing laundry yesterday. Good luck with your surgery.

HI everyone! You guys are just a week or so ahead of me. I am on the 29th and I am really feeling the nerves. No matter how much I read and prepare and study, the fact is, it's major surgery and it's gonna be tough. I wish you all the very best with your surgery in the next few days.
