Teri, Awesome on the date!!! My wife, Jodell's date is also the 27th, and my date is tomorrow morning. Although looking forward, it seems like a long time, but looking back the last two weeks has gone in a blink of an eye. We had so many things we wanted done BEFORE our surgeries, that we had alot to keep us buzy right up until my date. Try to plan some stuff to stay buzy, and the time will fly by!!! --Dave

I just got home from the hospital less than 2 hours ago, and Jodell is scheduled for March 27th. We will be traveling this journey together. I had OPEN RNY, and Jodell is scheduled for the same procedure on the 27th. I had a very upset stomach most of the time that I was in the hospital. It was the most miserable 4 days I've had in a long time. As a result, if I had to recommend this procedure to anyone today, you wouldn't get a thumbs up from me because I've been miserable. That said, I am feeling great now that I am home, and my spirit is higher. I am able to drink small amounts of room temperature water without feeling sick. When I was in the hospital, friends and family tried to call me and I was so miserable I didn't even want to talk to them. Now that I'm home, that attitiude seems to have changed. --Dave
