surgery today...I'm home :)

Okay sooooooo..... I am home tonight and I am soooooooo happy I am done I'm having some major pain in my shoulder and told that was from the anesthesia?? It was not as bad as I thought it would be!! I just have to take care of my self and heal well!!! I have to prepare for my next venture, my cruise on the 25th... Hugs to all....and to the ones getting ready for surgery you'll do AWESOME!!!

You had surgery this morning and are home now? Wow, taht is really short. Didn't they want you to stay and make sure everything was ok? I would be scared to go home so quickly. Hope things go well now - maybe it's easier at home. Sherry

I had such an incredible Dr. and the hospital was great!! Sooooo I made it through the night with no problems except I can't lay down yet....LMAO....I can't believe I feel this good but I have been really coaching myself to feel good ect....Make sure you get up and walk it makes it much better. I've been getting up and just walking around the house for about 10 mins at a time. Thanks for everyones support it really means so much..... Let me know if anyone needs anything Hugs to all!!!

Did you have lap band surgery? I know people with lap band it is same day surgery and you go home very quickly. For RNY gastric bypass it is more of a major surgery with incisions to major organs and rearranging your inner bits. I think they cut less holes in lap banders too. ~Christal/dionysus_star
