Date of LB March 12, getting excited!!
Hi Barbara -
I keep thinking of things to make my life a little easier after the surgery and making my list as well. Where are you getting your surgery done and which one are you getting??? Are you going to Dr. Ortiz???
I can't wait, getting nervous, but mostly because I am leaving 2 babies at home with my hubby to handle all on his own, that will be a treat for him.
Maybe we could talk some via email and share information. I have so much to say I can't type it all!
Hi Jennifer,
I'm getting the lap bypass.
You'll be fine. It's normal to be nervous. This is a life altering experience!!! I'm sure hubby will be fine with the children; then when this is all over you will have a long and happy life with them. You already took the most difficult step by deciding to have the surgery. Now, your journey is about to climax, and then it will be downhill.
How old are your children? Maybe you could prepare a few meals and freeze them so all you'll have to do is reheat them. Try to stock up on items that you'll need for the children so that you won't feel pressure to go to the store those first few days.
Please make sure you take care of yourself!!!!! This may sound selfish; but the more you take care of yourself, the faster you will heal, and be able to move on with your life.
You will definitely be in my prayers. My mother has a monthly prrayer group that will be meeting this coming Saturday,so I will definitely ask for safe and complication free surgeries for us all.
Best Wishes
Barbara
