Anti inflammatory meds

Is there anyone on anit inflammatory meds out there? At the informational meeting prior to surgery, the nurse told us to check and make sure we were not supposed to stop taking them. I called my doctor and was told by whoever answered the phone that it was okay to keep taking them. But I am paranoid and don't want anything to cancel my surgery. Anyone else told to get off/stay on certain meds prior to surgery?

I was told by my Dr. to stop taking all anti inflammatory 1 week prior to surgery alone with hormone meds. so I would call my Dr. office back and ask again or just play it safe and stop taking them.

My surgery is the day before yours and i was given a list of meds that my surgeon wants his patients to stop one week before surgery, anti inflammatory meds are on the list. also on my list is my blood pressure meds. i will see my family dr. to see if he wants to replace it with one that is not on the list.
