I've got a date - March 12

Well it's been about 2 years worth of anticipation and hard work, but I'm finally almost there! On March 12 in good old Ann Arbor Michigan at the U of M hospital I will go under the knife. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I still don't have an angel on here but I suppose it's ok, I have gaurdian angels in heaven who'll look out for me so who can complain about that? I hope to meet some friendly people on OH and be able to get good advice and guidance through my journey. Sharmie

Congrats Sharmie, I got my date yesterday (3-15) and I understand those emotions. I got myself all fired up yesterday....but then the reality sunk in about what was going to happen. Congratulations Sharmie, looks like we are gonna be surgery sisters and i like that. I have been lurking on OH since October and the people here are just awesome,and very friendly too. No matter what the question someone will either give you advice, a shoulder to cry on, share the goodtimes with or just be there to hold your hand. My date is March 12th also but in Mississippi at CMMC....we will share the same anniversary. Add me as your friend and we can keep up with each other. Of course, I am a different animal because I am a revision from a lap band 10 years ago to the RNY but it still will be fun to keep up with each other, right? Good Luck and try to stay calm for the next three weeks. OMG!!!!
