Hi. I just got myd ate today. It's like you wait and wait and then it's here and you don't know what to think. I'm not jumping for joy but I'm not freaking out either. Gosh, maybe over the year of planning just makes it a relief. Anyone else???? Sherry

I know exactly what you mean Sherry. I kind of felt this way when I found out I got the approval. I was so happy to not have to stress about it anymore, initially I was so happy I couldnt stand it. Then the reality of it kinda set in and I was like wow, what am I going to stress about now? LOL Anyway Congrats!! Looks like you and Bridgette are same day buddies!!

I was the same way...........I got a approval letter in the mail,and I was like.... ok........Im approved........But I didnt feel the whole jumping for joy thing either?!It was almost like it wasnt real!But as soon as I got all of my last Dr. Apt. before the surgery scheduled,that was when I started feeling excited and couldnt quit smiling!! Thanks for the posts. I'm still just not feeling that it's real yet. i hope to have my pre-op appointments set up this week. Maybe then it will feel different since I know I will have all the tests done and see the surgeon. Cross your fingers! Sherry

Hi Wanda! Yes, it will be great. I have been overweight pretty much my whole life, so it will be a totally new experience for me. I don't even know what it will be like. I just want to make it to and then through surgery ok. Sherry

I'm feeling the same way, Sherry. I too have been overweight since about ten. It will interesting to see the outcome. I'm sure we will be fit and fabulous. Wanda
