RNY surgery is going to be on March 20th.

I will be on the losing side in March and cannot wait. It is scheduled for then because my kids will be out of school on Spring Break and Grandma will be able to watch them. Steph.

Aah! I just got my date of March 1 and I am starting to get nervous! I also think that it just suddenly became real.

Hi Steph. I am new to this site and am submitting my information to my insurance company today. My doctor wants me to write a letter also, but I'm not sure what all to include. I have seen other people talking about somewhere on this site finding sample letters, but I can't seem to find them. Any help??? How long did it take you to be approved by your insurance company?? Hi, Becka. I don't know where the sample letters are, I believe some people have them posted on their profiles. Your best bet would be to ask on the main message board, I know they will be able to help you. I have Medicare and they do not have a preapproval for surgery, you just have to go to a Center Of Excellence hospital. There are none here in Kansas so I have to go 278 miles to Norman, Oklahoma.
