Topic: We're back
Hello all,
By popular demand Barbara and I will resume our posts. First I would like to say that I hope each of you have had and enjoyable holiday season. I know I did. I also would like to mention how great it has been to see the forum continue to be active. We have recently seen some lurkers and old timers come out of hiding and it has been terrific. We are all certainly here for one another.
So on with the post.
"Inertia" definition - a body at rest tends to stay at rest or if a body is in motion it tends to continue on with that motion.
So what does this mean for us? If we are just ignoring all of the good habits we were suppose to have learned we will end up with the same results we have always achieved. However, if we are progressing to our goal or maintaining our goals we are moving in the right direction and will continue to move in that direction. Unfortunately this law of physics also works the other way. If we are not following the rules and are on a path of bad habits it takes drastic measures to correct our ways. It would be hard but it can be done.
Many people make New Year's resolution. It is a time of new beginnings. If you need to change your ways now is the time to do it. Why not choose to be healthier and thus happier in the New Year. We are here to help if we can.
Thank you to each of you for your continued support.
Life is great, Rick
P.S. Tomorrow I will report on my experience with my 5 day pouch test and give you the results.

Topic: RE: Free South Beach Living kit!
That sounds interesting. I'm going to go check it out. South Beach always seemed like the most sensible diet out there to me. I lost thirty pounds following the diet and felt like I was eating healthier than usual. Some of their recipes and products are delish. Thanks for the link!
Hugs, Stephanie

I know it's hard to be out of your normal routine! Especially since it's difficult to move around easily. That week and a half will fly by and soon you'll be back into your routine. Hang in there!
Meanwhile, I'm glad the scale moved for you. I wi**** would move in the downward direction for me! This always happens when I begin exercising again after a break so I'm trying not to freak out!
Your talk of salmon influenced me to buy some at the store today. We had it for dinner with dijon mustard sauce. So good!
Have a good night!
Hugs, Stephanie

Its Sunday and oddly enough I woke up today missing my normal Sunday routine of preparing my food for the work week.. I still have a week and a half off from work and normally would be thrilled to death about it, but I'm not.. I guess it would be different if I could be out and about, but not yet... I got on the scale today and it came down a little more than a pound. Still not where I was, but better than almost 130.
my day has been pretty un-eventful
late breakfast - coffee latte with a scoop of nectar cappuccino protein
lunch - an apple and peanut butter
snack - last slice of pecan/cranberry bread
dinner - shrimp with creamed spinach
snack - blood orange and cheddar cheese
exercise - half hour of free weights and 40 min of stretching
water - only 1 - 32oz bottle so far
vitamins - all in but 1 more calcium
hows your day going?

Topic: RE: Walkers we're in NV!
I'm so excited!
I've never been to Vegas! I definitely don't want to miss it. I think gondola rides and slot machines sound like way more fun than my homework I should be doing right now. We're almost across the country! Yay us!
Thanks so much for keeping track of us.
Hugs, Stephanie
