Topic: RE: MARCHers and goal!
My dear Stephanie...I am wishing less stressful days for you soon! Ever so often a "thin mint" is just what might get you through. The difference is you only have a couple instead of the entire package!
Hurry up spring! Looking forward to our luncheon date in March! Take care, Barb

Good morning my friend. I've had a couple of very stressful days. It's so hard not to use food to comfort myself or help me get through the stress! I succumbed to Thin Mints last night. I know I wasn't hungry. I was tired and trying to stay awake to finish a paper. Definitely not a good choice. But, today is another day. Another stressful one at that. I'm going to try to make sure my motivation for eating today is nourishment rather than comfort!
Have a great day. We're supposed to get 15 inches of snow.
AND, I have to go to NYC tomorrow morning. Sigh. Is it spring yet???
Hugs, Stephanie

" The greatest obstacle for your continuous success is the last success you had in that if you imply that by applying the same methods, you will have the same result."...Author Unknown
Hummmm....what does that quote say? What have we been saying all along? Follow the rules you first followed almost 2 years ago. Come on my MARCHer friends...you can do this! What success we had those first few months...how easy it did seem then. Too bad we can EAT more, EAT more things, GRAZE more. Those are the things we have to change if we want to have continued success.
So just for yourself today...if you haven't been following the rules, or fudging just a bit - make that change today. Continue your initial success - especially if you are trying to get to goal. Follow the rules if you want to maintain.
BE sure and take your vitamins today, drink plenty of water, exercise today, and eat MORE protein! Have a good day MARCHers and hugs to all...Barbara

Topic: RE: Citrical Chews
That's a bummer! The chews certainly helped me in the first few months after surgery. I just stick to the regular pills now. They are huge! But I don't have any problem swallowing them at this point. My multivitamin is big too. They always discontinue the good stuff!!
Topic: RE: MARCHers and goal!
You have no idea how much I needed to shift my focus today from what went wrong! It's been one of THOSE mornings. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Both of our vehicles are in the shop. Both! How does that happen??? Than I arrived at work and so many things went wrong. Sigh. So thanks for the reminder to focus on what to do next. That's a far more positive attitude than to dwell on the other stuff.
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit with your family. I'm sure they loved seeing you as much as you did them. I hope your sister is able to get some relief of her maladies very soon. I know you've tried every avenue possible to make her life better. It's difficult to watch people we love suffer. I'm glad you chose to find a way to make your life better too!
Big hugs, Stephanie

Topic: RE: Note from the "real Rick"
Rick, welcome home! We're glad you're back. I'm sorry the weather wasn't great. I did rain on me some but I saw more sun last week than I have here in the last month. It was bliss.
Please thank Mrs. Rick for me. She did a great job with her posting duties and it was great to have another perspective to consider. I will definitely pop by the March 2008 board and wish them well.
Hugs, Stephanie

I loved the lemon ones, but have not been able to find them at Walmart in months.
I have been using the building block vitamin orange cream chewable. I hate the capsules.
