To me, food will be a lifelong struggle. There will be good days and bad days, just like with any other dysfunctional relationship. Your mind is a powerful tool as well.. You know what you need to do.

Nanette, you look wonderful! It's hard to imagine what a good weight would be (especially considering lymphedema as well) but I have a feeling that you'll know it when you see it. I think you look just fantastic as you are.

Hey there Rick just to let you know I did make it to my 2yr finally on the 25th of June....the day before my birthday...and he said that everything is wonderful and we have started the process to get rid of the excess skin...so that is where I am right now....we did find out that my grandmother does indeed have lung cancer so she has in the last couple of week started a form of chemo...we shall see.... I do have to say that I really miss the participation on the boards...I stop in every day and there is verrrrrry little activity...I miss the motivational posts and the general sense of family here...sometimes I think I may have said something to run everyone away...I miss you, and barbara, stylz all of the marchers....well I hope that everything gets back to normal in here...really miss everyone... Hi Heather. I'm also a growler and a grumbler. My stomach makes all kinds of noises. I don't think it is anything unusual, at least for me. I don't have any real pain unless I eat too much or stuff that I shouldn't have in the first place then my pouch will let me know. I hope everything works out okay for you. Please let un know. Yes, I agree with you and don't feel as good as I'd like to. I especially feel that I have more road to travel when I can't get into 8/10 pants but can get into 3/5 jr. petite blouses. My legs are a continuous reminder that I haven't gotten there yet. I know it will be a difficult battle since I have lymphedemia and the more I lose the better under control it will be.
