Topic: RE: Hi I had surgery in march of 2006! Really would like some friends!!!
Hi my name is Jannine...I will surely be your friend....Welcome to the Marcher 2006 boards..the board has been very quiet recently but there are alwalys people lurking around checking the board daily....everyone is probably out and about enjoying the new energy they have from doing such a great job on their own journey's....my surgery was on March 6th, 2006 I weighed in at 357 lbs and now weigh 167...I am 5'7
...my size ranges from 8-13/14 depending on the maker...I am hoping all that will change when I have the Tummy tuck done...my surgeon is sure he will be taking between 10-12 lbs of excess skin from my tummy so that should help with the difference in the sizes....my eating habits are basically like this...breakfast 3 scrambled eggs with mexican cheese right around 9am..then about 12 chicken and greek salad about 2pm protein drink 6pm supper usually protein (chicken) veggies and then about 8pm snack either protein drink or protein bar....my calorie intake between 1400-1600 per day depending on how long I work out at the gym....I think that is enough info for now....feel free to email me if you like....I have a great resource of recipes if you need some ideas to change up some meals...Hope you have a great day and don't for get to

Topic: RE: tummy noises
Hey Heather...My tummy has been doing this since about 7 months out...It scared me to death when I first had it happen. It has been so loud at times that it has awoken my husband from sleep...It seems to have something to do with what I eat...It seems like the dr said something like it was my pouch empting.

Thank you Stephanie! I knew that there would be head games associated with this surgery but I honestly didn't think that this would be one of them! I mean, how is it possible to see something that is not there? I wish I could see my old self standing next to my new self to completely evaluate what has changed because the only way that I can tell I'm smaller is by putting on my size 14 clothes.

You know, I was thinking about it and I'm pretty sure that I was over 200 even in middle school! Isn't it strange how mirror images of ourselves can look so different from a picture? They're both reflections of reality but it's easier to distort/misinterpret a mirror's image than a photo for some reason.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
What an accomplishment. I'm so proud of you and all of the hard work you've done! Way to go. That looking thinner part is an issue for me as well. It may take a long time for our heads to catch up with our bodies!
Hugs, Stephanie
