Topic: WDYET?? *** WEDNESDAY ***
Such a busy week at work! I've been suckered in to taking over the student ID project which I kind of knew would happen (just didn't expect it this quick).. I was on my feet all day which tweeked my sciatic nerve. Quick trip for the chiropractor for an adjustment and I'm as good as new I went for a walk at lunch and was gone an hour, after checking the pedometer I realized it was a 2.5 mile walk!! I was movin!! lol beautiful day outside, I've come to terms with the fall coming now that the cruise is over and have the pants, cords, fleece and sweaters ready! bring on the cooler temps, the space heaters ready to come out of hiding!! lol heres my day drive to work - isofruit pink lemonade protein shake medium caramel iced coffee, x-smart milk breakfast - 2 apple protein muffins lunch - 1 cup un-fried beans with 1oz cheese and enchillada sauce snack - banana dinner - shepards pie drink - fruit veggie drink (salad mix, grapes, asain pears, green apples, lemon, cucumber and carrots) water - TONS exercise - walk between buildings, stairs to the 5th, longggg walk at lunch, walk when I got home vitamins - calcium, multi and b are in, 1 more calcium to go! hows everyone doing? let us know!

Topic: RE: Any one watch The Biggest Loser last night?
I haven't started watching it yet, but have it on tivo in the living room I've watched episodes in the past seasons and think its a great show, so motivational! My thoughts on the are we worth it question, absolutely!! Its taken a lot of courage to get where we are. Surgery was a big step for all of us and losing weight wasn't just clicking our heels and it was gone. We had to work at it just like people who didn't have surgery. It is sad how America instills that complex obese people have in their mindset. People are down right cruel and it makes obese people uncomfortable being out in public. I remember going to a Japanese restaurant with friends and not fitting in the booth. I sat in the booth with my arm pinched between my stomach and the table so no one could see I was wedged in there. I was so uncomfortable and embarassed. I never returned there because I was afraid to be in the same situation, not only wondering what my friends (who are all skinny), but what people around us were thinking... It was far from a good feeling. Start looking in the mirror and telling yourself you are worth it, because you are girl!! I put my before and after picture in a frame and constantly looked at the changes I've made to make me realize I am infact a better person than I use to be, more healthy, active, confident and overall happy with my accomplishments

you are absolutely incredible Ms. Goozie.. a roll model for all of us don't you love the goodwill store? here its called "salvation army store".. funny story that I've posted before, but incase you haven't heard it... I was in the dressing room and the lady next to me was trying clothes on and her daughter was in the next stall trying on clothes. the daughter asked her mom if she could get 2 pair of jeans. the mom said sure and proceeded to say, I told your brother he could get 1 pair of jeans at jc penny or come to "SALS" and buy a few pair for the price of 1... I thought to myself... SALS?? ooohhh Salvation Army! lol now my friends and I say we're going to Sals to shop! great deal on the skirt! I found a pair of suede pants a few months ago for $5! Something I always wanted, so I said why not.. even if I dont wear them, they were only $5 and they'll end up here again!

I'm trying to remember my vitamins because I know they're so important! I feel like my day slips by and I haven't taken all that I'm suppose to I am getting better with calcium so I'd like to say I'm starting to get better! I'll continue to work on it tho, thanks for pointing it out Rick as it is such an important part of being a post-op

# 6 - tracking my progress is something I always say I'll go back to, but never do. I faithfully tracked in fitday for the first year of being post-op, when I hit that mark, my tracking went from every day to once a week to nothing. I know theres days I don't get in enough protein and tracking would really help. good point Rick! # 7 Sleep..... I probably get enough sleep for myself and everyone thats lacking it here on the Marchers board I'm a sleep-a-holic and could probably sleep my life away! Theres nothing better than a power nap after work to recharge the batteries! BF and I LOVE our naps # 8 Water, love it!!! I know they say you cant stretch your pouch by drinking, but I really feel like I have.. I use to drink 4 sips at once now its up to 10 which scares me a little because why is the water going through so fast? pre-op I use to chug 32 oz. water without stopping. if I could do that now, i'd really be worried! # 9 No OT for me either, state employees aren't allowed much of it so maybe its a plus for me # 10 thanks to Barbara's walking challenge, I've upped my walking and plan to get lots of exercise this weekend in Cape Cod. Its suppose to be a perfect weekend here in New England (low 80's high 70's during the day, light sweater weather in the morning and night).. can't wait

isnt coa*****redible?? I'm such an addict! I've even got a few people that say.. omg coach is so expensive to start buying them. you pay for quality and they back their stuff up. I had a mini backpack that I bought about 5 years ago. the leather by the metal clip started wearing out (after 5 years use it would right...) I sent it back to them, within 2 weeks I had it back, fixed and no charge. they stand behind their name I love that about them!
