Topic: RE: Walking Group Roll Call
I have tallied in at 37.67 miles for last week.....thanks for the chart....I am big on doing the house work and that helped out....my Saturday did not get me a lot of miles not as many as I wanted...but I was with my Church friends worshiping and meeting with God this weekend so I guess he had other plans for my walking time...to the point my iPod stopped working while I was in NH and I could not get it working but don't you know it works now...not sure if it was divine intervention or what..so...but in my opinion 37.67 miles for me is good. Mimi, That was quick, this was only posted 6 minutes ago. You weren't suppose to see this until the morning. It's a brand new day. So if you must, sneak a bite and pretend you didn't see this until the morning. Have a great day, Rick

Out of need springs desire, and out of desire springs the energy and the will to win....Denis Waitley What is our need? To get to goal, have better health, look better..... What is our desire? To get to goal, have better health, look better How will we get the energy and will to win? Our of our desire to get to goal, have better health and look better. We want, need and desire to get to goal and we know what we must do to do so. Shall I repeat our 4 goals....well, ok, just in case you forgot them - let me remind you! Drink more water, take your vitamins, exercise, and eat more protein by making good food choices. We have all lost so much weight up to this point that we must have more energy than in any other time in our lives. I know I do and I am sure you do also. Use that extra energy to push yourself towards the goal you so desire. Get moving MARCHers going to goal...make the right decisions today. We have the WILL TO WIN - I just know it! Thanks again to Rick for posting my messages these past 3 days. Hugs to all....Barbara

1. Halloween candy With all the bowls and bags of bite-size treats around the house, it's all too tempting to steal a few. But those tiny chocolate bars are more of a trick than a treat. Eat just four "bite size" bars and you're up to 320 calories. Twenty pieces of candy corn will cost you 100 calories, and just 25 jelly beans add up to 140 calories. 2. Mashed potatoes They are the quintessential comfort food for fall. Bu****ch out before taking seconds: weighed down with milk and butter, mashed potatoes usually have about 200 calories in a half-cup serving. 3. Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte Starbucks drinks are notoriously high in calories, and their autumn special is no exception. The Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte weighs in at 510 calories and 20 grams of fat. 4. Apple pie A Thanksgiving dinner is never complete without a slice of apple pie. But with more than 400 calories and 20 grams of fat, this might be one dessert you shouldn't be saving room for. Add a scoop of ice cream (who doesn't?) and you're up to 530 calories. It might just be enough to last you until next fall. Okay so now we know what to avoid. What do you replace these items with? More tomorrow. Life is great, Rick
