Santa's Surprise Cocoa
1pk NSA Hot Cocoa Mix (or your favorite)
8 oz of Boiling Water
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Tablespoon Non-dairy instant creamer
Combine cocoa mix, creamer and ho****er. Drop cinnamon stick into cup.
I used Chocolate Mint liquid creamer and it was extra special and oh so yummy. This recipe can be made for a party also...just make as many as you need with at least one packet for each cup.
Party Glugg Cider
8 pouches of Alpine Sugar Free Spiced Cider Mix
6 cups water
1 cup of pineapple juice
6 whole cloves
8 cinnamon sticks
2 oranges sliced
In a medium sauce pan or crock pot, mix together and heat Cider Mix, water and pineapple juice, cloves. To serve, place and orange slice and cinnamon stick in each mug and fill with strained cider. Makes four Servings...I have small cups so it made more....
These two recipes have helped me get thru the Holiday Season and truth be known only one person in my family could tell that it was sugar free and that is because she get migrains from artificial sweeteners.
The cocoa one was great too for those cold nights shoveling and even just for sitting around listening holiday music...the kids even wanted to leave some for Santa...I hope who ever tries it likes it....I am so ready for the festive season this year...

Topic: RE: Marcher's keep it interesting
Thanks Stephanie,
I also thought that was just riding an exercise bike. I didn't know it had a fancy name. I guess I'm just one of those that if I'm going to ride a bicycle I want to see something. I don't like to walk on a tread mill for the same reason.
Oh well, just call me old fashion.
Thanks for the info. Rick

Rick, I can't comment on the nuts part but you're definitely not a dork! Here's a link about spinning: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indoor_cycling if you're interested. It's fun and quite a workout. It's weird. I don't like working out with friends or family, but I do enjoy group classes. Perhaps I'm the one who's nuts!

Topic: WDYET?? *** THURSDAY ***
I think my vaction mode might be finally wearing off. I've been dazed and confused for the past few weeks at work trying to get back into a regular routine. Today I finally finished catching up with emails and entered all my appts into my outlook calendar, hopefully that means next week I'll be more on point than I have been, time to snap back into the real world!
my day hasn't been adventureful at all, boring with the foods, but they're keeping me full
drive to work - isofruit pink lemonade (the last of it )
medium caramel iced coffee, x-smart milk
breakfast - zucchini lasagna (zucchini sliced like noodles instead of pasta, ricotta and mozz. cheese mixture with sauce)
lunch - un-fried beans with 1oz cheese and enchillada sauce
snack - asain pear
dinner - unsure yet.. ill keep ya posted!
vitamins - all but 1 calcium
water - 3 cups so far
exercise - walk to dunkins, thats probably it for today..
hows everyone doing? let us know!

Stephanie,
I haven't even told my wife about the counting trucks thing. She would think I was nuts. Maybe she already does.
I feel like a dork, am I the only one that doesn't know what spinning is? It's good that you enjoy activities with other people. I'm a little more of a loaner and enjoy my thinking time.
Have a great day, Rick

Topic: RE: MARCHers Going to Goal!
Can you come follow me around and whisper "It's possible" into my ear all day long???? I'm not sure exactly what IS possible but I'm going to keep trying anyhow. For now, I still want to be under 200 pounds. In a big way!
Thanks for the encouragement!
Hugs, Stephanie

Okay, now every time I'm out walking and see a big rig I'm going to laugh! At least I'll be smiling!
I try to vary my exercise at the gym and I have my spinning twice a week. That seems to be working okay for now. After I'm all done with school I may try to pick up another type of group fitness class. I seem to be very motivated in those type of classes. Plus, once I commit to something that involves other people, I'm not likely to skip it.
Have a great day!

Topic: RE: Walkers we've made it to.....
What a beautiful little town we're in! Thanks so much for letting us know all about it. I'm going to walk, walk, walk this weekend all over campus for events so I hope my numbers increase some this week. I walked like crazy in NYC yesterday.
Do you think Clearfield will ever be the same after the MARCHers invaded?
Hugs, Stephanie
