Topic: WDYET?? *** FRIDAY ***
Our favorite day of the week!! I don't know what I was thinking this morning, but I um.... shut the alarm off and woke up at 7:15, not a good thing since I'm in the office at 7......
needless to say no time for liquid calcium or a protein shake.. hopped in the car and off I went, luckily I gave myself enough time to change out of my jammies otherwise it would have been an interesting day!
heres my day
nothing for the drive to work
much needed sf caramel iced coffee with x-milk
breakfast was late for which I was starving at that point and scoffed down a bowl of weight control oatmeal with 3/4c. smart milk and a tbsp of peanut butter. What is my new addiction to peanut butter?? Barbara are you sending me subliminal messages about nuts and now I'm hooked too?? lol
lunch is un-fried beans with 1oz cheese and enchillada sauce
meeting friends for dinner and I'm dying for steak so thats what I'll be having with veggies and a sweet potato
vitamins - still need my 2 calcium doses so I'll work on those now
water - 2 bottles so far, need a lot more!
exercise - long walk to dunkins, got some extra steps and stairs in because of my back and forth trips to the other building.
lets get out and get some walking or walking equivalencies in this weekend! hope everyone has an enjoyable few days off

It certainly is a challenge trying to get my ratio in everyday. I have been successful using the 25% fat, 30% carb formula. The scale has been moving a little each day and hasn't stalled out yet.

Topic: MARCHers going to goal!
All things are created twice. There's a mental or first creation, and a physical or second creation of all things. You have to make sure that the blueprint, the first creation, is really what you want, that you've thought everything through. Then you put it into bricks and mortar. Each day you go to the construction shed and pull out the blueprint to get marching orders for the day. You begin with the end in mind.
.......Stephen Covey
Houston...we have a problem. MARCHers - we have a blueprint!!! Definitely our mental or first creation in this case was our thoughts on having WLS. We created in our minds what we wanted...better health...looking better. And our second or physical creation was the actual surgery. Our first creation gave us the blueprint of what we really wanted after we had thought everything through.
We put our creation into bricks and mortar...we built a new stomach...our wonderful tool - our little pouches. And everyday since our surgery in March...we have been going to the construction shed. We now have marching orders for every day and we must continue to follow the original blueprint every single day. We began with the end in mind and now by golly - we are going to finish the construction...with the original blueprint in mind!!!!
What will you do today to finish the blueprint? Hang in there with me MARCHers and do the right thing today with the brick and morter....You have to have morter to keep the bricks building...your morter is the water, vitamins, exercise and protein...and as NIKE says...."JUST DO IT"!!!!
Have a wonderful fall weekend MARCHers - take a few pictures as you journey out on your walks this weekend...be sure and send them to me ([email protected]) for our photo journal of our walk across America...and finally for the weekend...MAKE GOOD CHOICES...work on finishing the blueprint! Hugs to all...Barbara
