Ok first off WAHOOOOOO Red Sox....ok.....I did some good miles this week...so far I have logged in 42.00 miles...are we gonna log miles again on Wednesday or go thru until Sunday....In my opinion...we should keep this going until we reach California...or at least for another month.....but that is my opinion...lol....I was adding up my personal miles an it is a great thing to see the numbers in the hundreds...considering prior to surgery I never left my computer chair...it is a good feeling.... Very chilly morning here in Mass, but to Sox fans 28degrees feels like 98! Congrats to the Sox fans out there, BF was soooooooo excited last night. We were up til 3 watching highlights and catching game interviews. The coffee was extra strong today and much needed! Its warmed up a little (suppose to reach 50 ) I brought my puffy jacket so I wouldn't have an excuse as to why I couldn't walk! We took a very brisk walk to DD this morning and walked again at 11:15 for 45 min (2 miles ) heres my day so far drive to work - iso fruit cantaloupe protein shake (realized I'm almost at 1/2, time to experiment with new proteins since the company no longer exists). medium french vanilla hot coffee, x-smart milk, 2 splenda breakfast - 2 apple protein muffins lunch - jannine's shredded chicken (eating it now, yummmm) dinner - lo mein noodles with shrimp and chinese type sauce snack - pear with gorgonzola cheese (thanks for the idea Rebeka, I would have never tried it) water - 2 - 22oz glasses so far.. too chilly to drink vitamins - all but 1 calcium that I'll have after my chicken exercise - walk at lunch and walk to dunkins. BF and I are going to sports authority this week. Anyone looking for a treadmill might want to check it out, they're running clearance on ProForm treadmills I saw a $1000 treadmill for $450 and a few other ones around the same price (they have cheaper ones, but we were looking for the fold up, inclinable one). hope everyones doing well, people in Cali staying safe, people on the East Coast staying warm and people in the North and South havin fun at what you're doin!

I'm a 43. I think it's neat that we are all pretty much in the same range. We are like minded people. Rick

Trish- I've been gone for a week. Are you having PS? What are you having done? I KNOW you will do great! Thank goodness for pain meds. I have no advice since I haven't had any surgery since WLS... but Good Luck! *hugs*

Hi all, Barbara and I have decided to take turns and trade off posting every other week. She starts her new job today and I took the duty this week. This doesn't mean that you are off the hook to remember the all important habits of: water, protein, vitamins and exercise. Barbara and her great inspirations will be back next week. Have a great day, Rick

Hi, I had a great weekend at the coast. It was so nice to walk on the beach and think. It is so calming to me. We met a couple that we have travelled with and we really enjoy their company. I hadn't given a lot of thought to the arm crossing thing, but I think I used to "hide" behind my crossed arms. It may also me a shyness thing. I always used to try to be invisible. That's kinda of hard to do at 339 pounds. Have a great day. Rick
