Topic: WDYET?? *** TUESDAY ***
I don't know what was up yesterday, but I couldn't stop eating!! On top of my menu from yesterday, I ate 1/2 a breat grains bagel and around 10 I ate about 1/2 c. of lo mein noodles with butter and garlic powder. Was it in my head or was I truely hungry?
This past weekend, our clinic held a re-treat, there was about 50 "determined" people there (I call them determined since it was a cold rainy day, early morning event so it took a lot to get out of bed
) It was nice meeting new and seasoned post-ops. A few of the regulars were there as well as a lot of new faces I haven't seen before. We had 3 seminars one on nutrition, one on the psychological aspect and one general discussion on being a post-op. I learned a lot and have some information I'll be sure to post soon!
I think because I ate so much yesterday, my stomach just wasn't hungry today.. I wasn't hungry for breakfast and ate oatmeal around lunch mostly because I couldn't warm up and they always say oatmeal helps so I gave it a shot
heres my day so far
drive to work - iso fruit cantaloupe protein shake
lunch - weight control oatmeal, 2/3c. smart milk and 1 T peanut butter
Dinner - shrimp lo mein
snack - pear and gorgonzola cheese
vitamins - all in but 1 calcium
water - 2 - 22oz glasses so far
exercise - long walk to dunkins, yoga class tonight!
hope all is well with everyone!

Topic: What do MARCHers want to do about walking?
Tomorrow is October 31 - the end of our original plan to walk across America.
I need a vote from you that are walking as to what you want to do. Here are the choices:
1. Determine a winner for my small prize for the October walking but keep walking until we get across America.
2. Keep walking until we get all the way to California - hopefully by the end of the year and then award the prize.
3. Stop keeping track of walking and just go with the plan for October.
If you haven't been walking since the first of October and we continue on across America, we welcome all participation starting now!
After we get everybody's vote - we will give you the outcome. Please respond and let me know what you want and the majority wins.
I personally would like Option 2. How about you?

BF is sooooooooo excited too! I guess im a Sox fan by association, I'm really a Mets fan but happy for the Sox! Hes there today with his brother and nephews watching the parade and went to the clubhouse store after work yesterday to get some hats and got to see Ortiz walking around with the WS trophy after they arrived. Boy was he happy!!
We'll log again for total miles on Sunday. Rick and I agree with you, lets keep walking til we get to Cali no matter how long it takes!!! We'll keep the invitation open every week to people who want to add their miles, hopefully it keeps everyones incentive up and we arrive at Rebeka's in no time
congrats on your personal miles, such a great accomplishment!
