Balance is the key I'm excited to leave work today and go home to bake Mama of 3's apple crisp and a sweet potato dish. The holidays are upon us, enjoy them, spend time with family (and our Marcher's family) and be proud of what we've accomplished over the past 20 months! Happy Thanksgiving Barbara (be sure to tell DH I said the same)

http://www.city-data.com/picfilesv/picv19201.php Sterling, CO Nice area for our long break, http://www.sterlingcolo.com/ heres a few pictures of our stop http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicv/vfiles10458.jpg http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicv/vfiles10465.jpg http://pics4.city-data.com/cpicv/vfiles19199.jpg the city has a Rec. center with really reasonable rates that includes a pool, fitness center and racketball ball . what a great idea to have for the locals. maybe we can sneak in and have a pool party Thanksgiving Eve! ;) http://www.sterlingcolo.com/dept/plr/reccenter.php Population is a little over 11,000 and its as cold there right now as it is on the East Coast (30s in the am, 40s in the pm) so bundle up! Stopping in Sterling so close to Thanksgiving, lets celebrate our new lives and instead of sitting around eating turkey and falling into an induced turkey coma, how about we head to the local Veteran's Soup Kitchen and help with pass out meals? We've eaten through plenty of holidays during our pre-op days, maybe its time to spend it with people who are less fortunate and enjoy the day with them Depending how the week goes, we could sail right over Denver, we're 128 miles away. Lets get those miles in and make it to the state line! http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1609/9234421/16931981/289481659.jpg Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I have successfully made it to GOAL.....my personal goal was to hit 157 by 12-08 and as of the past three days I am 157...I think the caffine is what was holding up my progress...when I was sick last week I did not have coffee it was a no no...so it has been 10 days without cafinated coffee and I have lost those pesky 8lbs I was stuck on...think I am gonna stick with decafe from now on...So as of today I have lost a grand total of 200lbs...that is shocking in its self very hard sometimes to believe...but I did it.... I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and I know that God will bless each and everyone of you. Love Jannine 357/157/Goal TT

Live a balanced life--learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.....Robert Fulghum OK - let's live a balanced life - the optimal word being balanced! Tomorrow let's sing and dance and play and work and have a nice day. And for BALANCED....you can do that tomorrow. You can have a little bite of something sinful only if you eat too much turkey before you take that bite!!!! Just make the balanced part work tomorrow - please take those life saving vitamins...drink that extra bottle of water - especially tomorrow....take a little walk with your loved ones after dinner (maybe not the marathon you are used to, but a little walk so the old folks can go with you) and have plenty of that protein rich turkey!!!! - WORK your balance tomorrow! And my special wish to our MARCHers...HAPPY THANKSGIVING...to all of you. I am so thankful to belong to such a wonderful support group. I hope you all have a safe, wonderful, and BALANCED holiday! I am sending a big HUG to all of you...Barbara

Barbara, Thanks for being easy on us this week. I will enjoy the week and try to be reasonable about my food choices. Most of all I will remember all of the things I have to be thankful for. Have a great day, Rick

first off.. o****now?? the weatherman predicted this when... 10 minutes after it started?? secondly, great post again its that time of year to sit back and enjoy family, yes we need to stay in tune with our pouch and do the right thing, but dont stress over a second serving later in the day because you're afraid you wont lose this week. Enjoy time with family and as Barb said.. next week we're back to hard work and getting back on track.
