I can't even imagine sky diving. I was on the roof of a house my brother is building last week and I only lasted about 30 minutes before I had to get down. Take care, Rick

We did like Turks and Caicos. We were there on a cruise and unfortunately all of the ports sort of run together. That is such a beautiful part of the world. We are going back to Tortola in April and I am so looking forward to it. Have a great day, Rick

great post Barb! taking my vitamins as I type. I need to get back in the swing of things, routine needs to be back to normal and time to forget about the big F (food)!! I've been eating and eating and have gained back 4 lbs. not a good way to start the holiday season especially since I'll be laying in bed with no exercise for a few weeks. time to get those pounds off!!

fun post states I've been to - vermont, maine, connecticut, rhode island, new york, pennsylvania, DC, maryland, virginia, north carolina, south carolina, florida, georgia, alabama, texas, missouri, nevada, utah, arizona, colorado ohio and illinois countries - canada, mexico, italy, spain, greece, turks and caicos, usvi, st. maarten, bahamas, st. lucia and aruba did you like turks and caicos? I think that was one of my most favorite relaxing vacations! I loved that we could walk from middle caicos to north caicos during low tide, you just had to remember what time the tide was coming back so you didn't get stuck on the other island til the next day!

I've done it twice now, its a blast!

Topic: Walkers Roll Call: Week 9
Sorry I wasn't around and didn't post our map, it was a stressful weekend A friends husband ended up with a staph infection in the spring, was admitted to the hospital and after the bills piled up they fell behind and are about to lose their house. BF and I spent the weekend to help out with packing, just a sad situation especially this time of year.. Our added miles last week got us ahead of Denver and in a town called Idaho Springs Colorado! here we are on the map http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1609/9234421/16931981/291375927.jpg lets see where last weeks miles bring us, post your miles here so we can keep heading west to California before the end of the year! I love my new treadmill it really helps with impact. My weekend wasn't full of walking, we did go for a short walk Friday and helped with the move over the weekend. When we got back on Sunday I walked 3 miles on the treadmill (running about a half mile of it, hope to keep improving it). let us know how you did for the week, every bit helps!!

Rebeka, I do like to travel, but mostly I am a home body. It helps that my youngest brother was a travel agent and was good at finding affordable deals. My favorite spots were probably Hawaii and the Carribean. I like warm spots, nice beaches and a good place to snorkle. Costa Rica sounds like a nice place to visit. I may put that on my list. Have a great day, Rick

Barara, Thanks for reminding us that one bad day does not make a patern or make us a failure. Have a great day, Rick

Good morning! Thanks for the reminder about "all or nothing". I tend to get caught in that trap very easily. I like your idea of having an extra dose of friends or family rather than food. I'll go home and tell Pete that I've been instructed to have an extra dose of him today! I definitely want to take a walk in the snow this afternoon. I neglected my vitamins while recovering so today is my day to get back on the vitamin wagon! I have them packaged for the week and am determined to take every last one of them. Have a great Monday! Hugs, Stephanie
