The sweetest of all sounds is praise.......Xenophon
So on this last motivational post for 2007....let me make that sweet sound of praise...
1. What a wonderful group of people you MARCHers are...
2. How lucky am I to have had surgery in March so that I now know all of you...
3. How good is it to get up each morning and check in on this board and find friends...
4. We know so much about each other...yet we all like each other..anyway!...
5. How proud I am of such a successful group of people...
6. How sweet is it we have accomplished so much in less than 2 years?...
7. Thank you all for your encouragement and caring comments...
8. How lucky am I to have been able to meet STYLZ, Stephanie Smiles, and Jannine along this journey and have the privilege of calling them FRIEND...
9. What a motivational friend we all have in Rick who makes such wonderful posts...
10.How thankful I am to know each of you and I praise you all for your accomplishments, kind words, and understanding as we all go through this journey together...
No lectures today about vitamins, water, exercise and protein (you knew I would get this in some way!).....rather let me send my well wishes to all of you for a happy holiday and prosperous New Year 2008. As we approach our 2nd year, may we all stay together on this board, may we all enjoy good health next year and continue on our journey. For those of you facing plastic surgery next year...my thoughts and prayers are with each of you for another successful journey. For those of us not yet at goal...hopefully 2008 will get us there. For those of you at goal...may you continue on with your successful journey. Hugs to all for a great 2007 and I am looking forward to a successful, friend filled 2008. I will be back in January to continue our motivational posts. Happy Holidays and HUGS to all...Barbara
Topic: RE: Here's a question for you.
you are not alone. I was complaining yesterday about how fat I was. I had a pair of cords on that were too big but I swear when I sat down I saw my old big thighs and huge stomach. My mom took me to red lobster and I was afraid I could not fit in the booth they seated us because I felt so fat. I am thinking I might seek some theraphy next year because I see some head issues that I am devloping that are scaring me.
happy holidays!

Topic: RE: Maybe not a FIRE, but at least a spark. :)
Sparks start fires!
I'm going back to the gym tomorrow for the first time since plastic surgery. I may not be able to lift weights, but I can cardio for a while. My husband is going with me to try it out as well.
I'm ready to get back into some sort of routine!
Have a great day and good luck at the gym!
Hugs, Stephanie

I just want to reach out and hug you! I don't think my arms are that long (unless the plastic surgeon made them bionic arms!). I really, really wish we didn't have people in this country without homes, jobs and families to care for them. It obviously brought joy to you to bring joy to that gentleman. Thank you for sharing that with us.
I'm going to find a way to help one of my colleagues who is going through a divorce this weekend. She won't ask for help, but I know she must need help in some way. I'll figure it out!
Joyful hugs, Stephanie

Ruth Ann,
It's always good to see your smiling face. We need each other and you have been here for us in the past and hopefully in the future.
I'm about to leave for my first walk of the day. No snow here, just in the foothills. That's okay with me.
Have a great day, Rick
P.S. it only takes a small spark to rekindle a huge fire.

BArbara,
You are so kind hearted. I'm sure it will serve you well. I like to see the good in people and I hope they see the good in me. You are a blessing to more people then you realize.
Thank you for your inspiring words today and everyday.
Likfe is great, Rick

WOOPEE.....sheeeeeeeee's baaaaaack!!!! Keep that spark going. Next week after the Christmas break I am going downstairs and joining the gym at work. Now that I have you to keep me honest!!!! I'm already feeling exercisingly motivated!!!! I would jump up from my desk (I am working at home today)and go for a walk but it is snowing and we must have 2-3 feet of snow in my front yard right now. So I am "exercising" my fingers by replying to this post! Barb
