I am so proud of each of us.
Good luck and better health in 2008.
Life is great, Rick

I hope you are progressing along after your surgery.
Put me down for 30 miles last week.
I have 4 1/2 miles to go to my personal goal of 2000 miles logged since I started
keeping track. I should have that done today.
Have a great day, Rick

Happy almost 2008 MARCHer family!
It's time to check-in with one another and celebrate our enormous success. I find that it helps motivate me when I examine how far I've traveled on this journey rather than distressing over how far I still need to go. So let's check-in and be amazed at our transformations over these past 21 months. I'll go first:
Starting Weight: 350 pounds
Surgery Date Weight: 316 pounds
Weight Today: 201 pounds
Total Weight Lost: 149 pounds
Weight Lost Since Surgery: 115 pounds
Total Inches Lost: 61.5 inches
Starting Size: 30/32
Current Size: Large or 16
WOWSERS!
I'm really liking those stats!
I'm so proud of each and every one of us for continuing to incorporate healthy habits into our lifestyle and for continuing to support each other on this journey.
Happy New Year!
Hugs, Stephanie

Hiya! Hope you're hobbling along well and that you feel better each and every day! My miles for last week are 20.5. I'm focusing on cardio this week so perhaps that number will improve.
We're almost at our destination!
Hugs, Stephanie

Topic: RE: OK - getting jiggy with it!!!
I'm in too! not for the weight loss, but I want to eat healthier than I am!! You know how I feel about those crazy crash diets that post-ops make up, so I ditto what Ruth Ann says, becareful girl and if you start feeling woozie, add some foods!
I've been eating so bad for the past couple weeks, a lot of bad choices (yesterday I had a few steak tips for lunch with a couple onion rings and fries). It seems like the fried foods are coming into contact more and more.
I still eat small amounts, but I think because of it, I graze more (eating every 2 hours instead of 3), now that I'm not getting exercise, it worries me the scale is going to start going up and up! I've been reading all kinds of healthy food books and do plan to change my eating in January so this will be a great help!
