I still look every now and then. My anniversary day is hard for me since that is the day I lost my mother.
Unfortunately, I haven't done great on the maintenance front with my weight loss. I am healthier than before my surgery, but I could / can do much better.
I'm glad you are doing well.
Take care, Rick
Hi All, This is our month!! Can you believe it's been 9 years?
How's everyone doing with weight loss maintenance?
I am doing pretty good....my lowest weight was 135 and have maintained at 155 for the last couple of years. I eat refined carbs more than i should, but have no excuse...
I hope to hear from some of you....we were a pretty social group at one time.
Hugs!!

Hello everyone,
It has been quite a long time since I have posted on this sight, to be honest I forgot in my busy life. I read the things that i wrote and can still feel the excitement of that period in my life and feeling good. As time has gone by though I am gaining everything I took off. I suffer from mental illness and the medications I take cause weight gain..but if I would follow the rules I followed after surgery it shouldn't have been an issue. I am so sad and broken hearted about my weight gain...I just want to cry. Are there any members that have faced the same issue? Is there a way to get back on track or is it too late? Can I have the surgery again?
Thank you
Kathy
I'm sorry I didn't see your post sooner. My wife and I were on vacation in Maui, I know poor us. I hope you are doing well.

Calling all Marchers… How's everybody doing?? Not many have checked in lately.
I am doing great health wise….still cancer free!! Now weight wise…uuuugh!!! I am up about 25 pounds. I know exactly what I'm doing wrong…crackers, pretzels, and just plain 'ole making silly choices..…and each day I vow to stop it….and some days I do, but many days I don't.
Looking forward to 'seeing' my Marcher friends. Come out, come out wherever you are..

Its so crazy how life can seem like it has always been this way. My daughter is graduating this year from high school and needed old photos. Wow, what an eye opener! Even though I was big my whole life until I had my surgery, it all just seems like a bad memory. My life is completely different. I am still holding steady within 5 pounds of my second lower goal weight. I am going back to school to be a chef and hospitality manager. Lol, you can make it so the girl can't eat the food, but that won't stop me from cooking it!
I hope everyone is doing well and celebrates their accomplishments on their surgiversary!
