So, this was one of my favorite foods in the entire world before surgery. I just went to "mushy foods" on Friday.. and because its a soft meat, I decided to have some. Pre Surgery, I could eat 25 or 30 in a sitting.. and still have a piece of pizza. Yesterday, we ordered some at a bachelor/bachelorette party. I had 2.5... and was full!!! OMG! I was so amazed. It took me over 30 minutes to eat those 2.5 wings. My husband had finished 25 in that time frame and another guy was on his way to 40! I know this surgery is working!

I'm a bit of a chicken wing enthusiast myself, so I have a few questions. Were they breaded? If not, was it a butter/hot sauce type sauce? This is my favorite kind of chicken wing and I miss them so much! I love them so much, I wanted to go see my in-laws in Cincinnati, just so I could go to my favorite wing place before surgery and my hubby refused. Now I just wonder if I'll ever be able to eat them. My nut says to use fat free butter spray, so I wonder about the butter. Then I wonder about the wings being deep fried. Luckily, I don't like the breaded wings so much, so that's not a problem. congrats on only eating 2.5...isn't it amazing how little we can eat now and be full! I went out to dinner for the first time on Friday night to a mexican place. I ordered chicken fajitas and it looked like someone barely picked off the plate...actually, someone did...me. Hubby said that from now on we were only gonna order one meal! My friends jus****ched in amazement! Good Luck! Kim 359/313/150

I had 2 Pizza Hut hot wings tonight at my parent's house. The stats were: 110 calories 6 g fat (2 g saturated) 11 g protein For a meal away from home I didn't think it was too bad even though I usually try to eat foods that are at least 50% protein. I considered this a special treat. Laura

Ive never fried my wings, I always bake them. Spread the wings out on a non-stick cookie sheet, something oven safe... bake at about 400F till crispy and cooked (Turn during cooking), spray a little butter & mix in your favourite hot sauce. I love Franks Red Hot sauce. Much healthier than fried and breaded wings.

So the skin from chicken doesn't bother you? I was wondering if I could have wings and it looks like we can (yeah!!!) I plan on using your recipe this weekend so thanks. I don't like any hot sauce - So you suggest seasoning and spraying w/ butter-spray and turning 1/2 through after doing the same thing? Thanks, Monica

I haven't tried chicken wings yet, and personally don't really eat them... that comes from my South beach Diet days... weren't allowed them on the diet because they are the fattiest part of the chicken. Your better off eating chicken breast... wings contain a lot of skin and fat. Maybe if you like BBQ type wings you could mix them in some Kraft Low Carb BBQ sauce? Maybe sprinkle with some salt & pepper, parmesan cheese?? Baking them has just always been the way I make chicken wings--- on the odd occasion I do. Much better than frying....

The ones I had were from this wonderful place called Broadway (if you ever come to Orlando.. HUNT THEM DOWN>.. they are worth it!) They were not breaded... (yuck!) they were a mild sauce.. didnt want to get too hot. I would say the were baked in a pizza oven. I dunno if they would cook them any other way.. the pizza place I worked at when I was a kid threw them in a pizza pan and put them thru the oven with some sauce on them. All I can say is YUMMY!!!
