Talk about a week...
Thanks for everyone's wonderful comments. It was a tough week, when I got back home I had an Easter card from my "other mother" as I always called her and it was dated 2 days before she died, and that was a bit sad. It just takes time to get over the lose of a loved one.
But for PUGS!!!!....they are the sweetest dogs and mine are great motivators to go out walking because they love it so much. We have been out twice today strolling!
As for the dumping...never had I done it before last Saturday and hope to never again! Can't believe that little bit of sugar on that turkey breast caused such a reaction. I have been so careful not to even think about sugar for fear of that. So in a good way, guess I won't even be tempted to try anything with sugar for quite a while! Happy Weekend everybody.
Barbara,
Sorry for your loss. Glad everything turned out OK for you. I am worried about sudden trips. I will take some of your tips.
I also am a Pug owner, since 1978. I love those little puggies.
My girl is also dieting now and walking.
I can go farther than her right now.
We lost our other girl in Jan. and my angel has been grieving since.
She has really plumped up over the winter so we need to get her back down to size.
Glad to have you back on the forum!
Mary
