*** 04/12, What did ya eat? ***
My day has not started off well at all!!!! Our alarm didnt go off, so we had 15 minutes to get ready and leave for work. In turn I missed breakfast... and it's been downhill from there LOL Ive left my crystal lite and have been trying straigh****er today--- it doesnt hurt like it did just newly post-op. On the good side the sharp stabbing pains Ive had while healing are much less today! woo hoo.
Fluids: 15oz water
Breakfast: None-- I know bad bad
Snack: 2oz Hummus, wedge of laughing cow cheese & 4 soy crisps (Yes AGAIN)
Fluids: 8oz water
Lunch: 3oz Chilli
Fluids: 10 oz water
Snack: String Cheese
Fluids: 16oz water
Dinner: Thinking about having some more left over chilli.
Probably more water after dinner...

Good luck with the Filet Mignon. I grilled a piece of sirloin steak (about 1" thick) and I did it medium rare, making sure I didn't sear it on the outside so it wouldn't get a hard outer layer. It went down beautifully. I didn't weigh it, but the length and width of the piece I ate was about 2.5" X 5", minus the excess fat. It was absolute HEAVEN! Oh, and I marinated it for about 3 hours so it would soak up and stay moist while cooking - you know the grill tends to dry meat out.

Hi MARCHer today has been badddd! I don't know what i did but I woke up during the night with the worst pain in my left knee. It was so bad I took some of the post surgical pain med--made me so sick. Never again!!

snack--Achieve One (back on drinks trying to up my protein)
lunch--3 oz tuna salad--took me two times to get all that down so skipped snack
Going out to dinner tonight with my wine club--oh well no wine for me--
i will do a soup or a little fish.

Lunch: 2 oz. shrimp, 1 TBS. homemade ****tail sauce
Dinner: 3 oz. grilled shredded chicken breast in 4 TBS. Kraft Carb Well BBQ sauce
Snack: (before bed): 1 oz. Cabot 75% Light Vermont Cheddar and 5 strawberries
Totals for the day will be:
442 calories
33 grams carbs
8 grams fat
56 grams protein
I'm doing horrible on water today! I've only drank two cups! I plan to chug chug chug until midnight.
Oh, and no more club crackers for me. I found myself craving them too much and think I could eat a TON of them if I was stressed out. I'm not going to buy them anymore (at least not during this rapid weight loss stage).

Bad eating day for me. I tried cashews and unfortunately they tasted too good. I consumed 2 ounces before it was all said and done. The chicken I tried to eat tonight was too dry for some reason. Maybe it's because it is two days old. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Lunch: 2 oz canned shrimp with diced celery, green pepper and onion and 1 wedge of Laughing Cow Garlic and Herb cheese
Snack: 2 ounces of cashews
Dinner: 1 oz chicken breast
Snack: 1 NSA Fudgsicle
Calories: 615
Fat: 34 grams (yikes!!!)
Carbs: 27 grams
Protein: 56 grams (not good)
