Okay this is the first time I have done this. I just started a food journal today b/c I am having a hard time with liquids. B-1 hard boiled egg (6 gm) 1 slice turkey bacon (2 gm) L- 3 oz FF cottage cheese (9 gm) S- soy crisps (8 gm)...ok ate too many right? 20 melts down to nothing D-probably 2 oz refried beans, low fat cheese, and 1 tbsp. FF sour cream (11 gm) In between been working on protein shake...(20 gm) Proteins...56 grams exercise...half a mile on treadmill burned 57 cal. water...20oz (had 3 sugar free pops, do they count, also the 3 oz of milk in shake, does it count?) I am new to this. Does it look like I am doing right? Please let me know

Those soy crisps are good huh??? Im addicted... showing bad habits like before surgery hahaha. I try to limit them, but eat 4-5 with most meals... I spread the 17 serving throughout the day. They do melt to nothing, but man do they satisfy my need for crunch!!! Yup popsicles count as liquids, and so does any milk in the shake. Looks like you need to get those liquids increased.... What are you drinking? I can do about 64oz now no problems, at first it was sooo hard. Water hurts and is hard to drink, so I always have something in my water like a small amount of crystal lite.

Liquid: V-8 6oz w/morning vitamin and Iron Liquid: 18 oz. of Crystal Lite/Water during walk Breakfast: 1 hardboiled egg made into egg salad (mayo, mustard, dash of pickle juice) Liquid 20 oz. IsoPure Lunch: 2 oz baked salmon, yummy but I think I ate a bite or two too much, felt pretty full and did a lot of burping, finally settled down after I got up and walked around a little. Planned on some asparagus heads, but just could not make myself do it. Liquid 18 oz Crystal Lite/Water (I call mine Crystal Lite/Water because I barely use any Crystal Lite, it just makes the water a little more palatable for me) Dinner: 3 very small bites of Tuna Salad, just couldn't handle any more so didn't want to pu**** At this point I realized I had not taken one calcium today, darn it, I was doing so good. I guess I had better concentrate on "eating" AND taking my vitamins. Liquid: 12 more oz of plain water before bed, slowly. All in all not too bad although the salmon didn't sit as well on my pouch as I had hoped, I did chew, chew chew it, but I may have eaten a bite or two more than I should have. Well, if I was feeling so good that I wasn't sure I had the surgery, I am certainly NOT feeling that way now. I am glad that my pouch is "talking to me". Ingrid

I can totally relate to a bite or two too much.... I did that with my crab salad today, OMG it hit me like a ton of bricks. I wasn't sick at all, but 5 hours later Im still full. That stuff really filled me up... and boy did I get tired after, I slept like 2 hours--- all the oxygen was going to help digest it I guess LOL. Kind of like Thanksgiving day naps hehe.
