NOT HAPPY!!!!
Well I got official word on Friday. The Dr's have to postpone my date because of insurance wants a 6month DR suppervisied weight loss program. The surgons office has never had this happen to anyone with my type of insurance. I guess they decidied to start with me. Anyway good luck to all you Marchies. Welcome to the losing side. I will be there someday.

Hang in there Jen...I know it sounds petty, but it will go by fast. My good friend in Nashville, TN had the same thing happen to her. She didn't have any real history of a supervised weight loss program and they made her have a 6-month doctor supervised weight loss. She has one more month to go. It is easier said than done, but don't get discouraged. We'll all be waiting for you on the loser's bench. Barbara
Don't be discuraged. I have been trying to have this surgery done for two years. I had to drop my health insurance and just go on my husbands it is a lot more out of pocket for me but I think it is worth it. I used to have Great West they wanted me to jump through too many hoops. They wanted 10 year weight history and 1 year dr supervised weight loss. It is stressful but it seems to be worth the wait.

I'm sorry you have to wait a bit longer but it will be worth it. Just hang in there. My insurance company won't touch WSL at all for any reason. I've been checking into it for years hoping and praying then my hubby said we'd just pay for it ourselves. Don't let the insurance company get you down. Do what they ask of you and it will work out.
