Surgery date changed...

Initially I was approved to have surgery on February 21, 2006, today I was told it has been changed to March 2, 2006. However, if there is too much blood loss after removing my spleen, then the RYN will be postponed for at least 6 months. I want to be excited, but I could wake up and find out the doc wasn't able to do the surgery. ~Laura~

Hi Laura Your having this surgery because its whats best for your health and if your bleeding to much for your doctor to perform the surgery safely its a good thing that he waits. But with that said you still have every right to be disappointed I'm so sorry you have to deal with all that. Please keep us informed and I will keep you in my thoughts. Best wishes Heather
