Good, Bad and the Ugly!!

Hi, I am new and am looking for information!! I am a little nervous about post op and I know everyone is different....so lets hear it all!!!... post op.....THE GOOD, BAD AND THE UGLY!! I am a realist, so being very frank and honest is my style!!! Also, any good reading regarding Q&A's for the RNY?? or just good reading in general for the surgery?? I have been reading WLS for Dummies, and finding it VERY helpful. I bought mine at Borders, Barnes and Noble did not carry it (or any books on WLS for that matter). You can also order it online at amazon.com. I find it to be very helpful, talking in a language I can understand, instead of having to decipher through medical terminology. (The technical stuff is there too... so you can impress your Dr. with your knowledge). Hope this is helpful!! Heather Surgery Date to be Detirmined!! (Should be Mid-March)

Hi Christy. Congratulations on your date for surgery! My date is also March 7th. I think most of us on this board are pre-op. I'm afraid I can't be helpful yet with post-op questions. What I can do is send you good thoughts and encourage you as we take this journey! I do recommend the main messageboard or any of the other post-op forums. They are a wealth of information.
