Hello Everyone, I'm going to get the pre-op physical on Feb. 1 and 2 and the hospital set the date tentatively for the beginning of March, so somewhere between the end of February and middle of March. I'm living in Japan and my doctor seems great, but has only done 80 surgeries, I know that is in the "experienced" range, but I still worry. But, he has been very attentive and is a master at Lap suturing, so I imagine he will be fine. He does appear to have been trained by great surgeons who have done thousands of surgeries. Anyway, nice to meet you all and I'll keep you posted on a date. David

Hi glad to hear you will be having your surgery soon, mine is schedules for march 2. wont be long and we will be on the losing side. I bet it is intersting living in Japan. love marie
