MARCHers and goal!

The future depends on what we do in the present.....Mahatma Gandhi OK, the past is behind us...our future DOES not include WLS...we have been there, done that! However our future most definintely depends on what we do in the present. I just did a not so good thing...I had a peanut butter Reese's tiny easter egg ball - while I was typing this post...go figure? My future with that choice made in the present is going to result in disaster if I continue along that course...and we don't need that to happen. We do not want to go backwards, we do not want to fall back into bad habits, we do not want to loose the great health benefits we have achieved from our decision to have this surgery and the good results that came with it. So GET ahold of yourselves...me included. We are just a few short days away from March 1st - 2 years ago we all began this journey - and TOGETHER I might add! If you have been slipping...slip a little Thursday and Friday, but make SATURDAY, March 1, 2008 a start over again day - or today if you wish. Make GOOD choices ...make a deal with the that you will succeed over him! Get mad and continue on with this journey...!!!! Let's get all those vitamins in, let's eat protein first, let's drink plenty of water, and by golly - spring is coming - so get outside and WALK!!! Hugs to you all, Barbara

Barbara, Let's not get mad let's get even. We will all win this battle. In many ways we already have. WE are in such better shape then we were 2 years ago. We are more confident, most of us are healthier. Most of us are happier, I know I am. As has been said, all journeys begin with one step.
